Hands-on letters for early literacy

This combo set gives you a complete alphabet in both uppercase and lowercase, plus 8 blank cards, all on sturdy 3" x 3" laminated cards. The clear, child-friendly letterforms match the print children learn to write. The colour coding (consonants in blue, vowels in red) helps children notice the vowel in every word.

Because every card is laminated, the set is dry erase. Children can trace letters, underline word parts or mark sounds, then wipe the card clean and use it again. The 8 blank cards are for whatever your lesson needs: a child's name, digraphs like sh or ch, word endings, punctuation, or extra copies of common letters.

Ways to use it

• Build words: spell CVC words like cat, boat and Car, then swap one letter to make a new word.
• Match cases: pair each uppercase letter with its lowercase partner.
• Sort vowels and consonants: the red and blue colour coding makes this self-checking.
• Use in pocket charts: the 3" square size fits standard classroom pocket charts.
• Play games: memory, letter hunts, "What's missing?", and ABC order races.
• Write on the blanks: add custom letters, names or word parts with a dry erase marker.
