Hex-A-Link™ Cubes are a versatile collection of 2 cm interlocking cubes that come in ten colours and connect on all sides. They are pleasant to handle, easy to manipulate and, although simple in concept, can be used to develop a wide variety of mathematical ideas at many different levels of complexity. The cubes are useful for developing patterns based on colour. When they are used to build three-dimensional structures, they lead naturally to the concepts of volume and surface area. Hex-A-Link™ Cubes are also useful for geometry and spatial sense activities.
