At level 6, the semiconsonant yod (e.g., yoyo), the graphemes ill, euil, eil, ouill, ion, gn, and the nasal vowels am, en, em, om, im, ain, and ein are introduced. There is also a greater presence of silent letters that are grammatical morphograms (e.g., mangent, agneaux).
